While recent months have been troublesome for Lil Durk, the Chicago rapper can focus on brighter days for now as he prepares the release of his upcoming project, Love Songs For The Streets 2.
The sequel to the 2017 project is set to arrive next Friday, July 26th. Following last week’s “Like That,” drops a second single off the project, “Bougie” alongside Meek Mill.
“Bougie” arrives ahead of Durk’s upcoming album Love Songs 4 The Streets II, the sequel to his 2017 album, which drops July 26. “I made LS4TS2 for women, my Day 1’s, the trenches, and all those that doubted me,” said Durk.
The Chicago rapper is out on bond after being arrested in connection to a February shooting outside an Atlanta restaurant. He is awaiting trial after being booked for five felony charges including criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and another charge of associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a crime.
