Lvcky is a Los Angeles artist who was raised in the Crenshaw district. He is an independent artist who brings that West Coast sound with the hopes to help people overcome struggles through his lyrics and beats. The 21-year old’s name was inspired by the movie “Paid In Full.” He got the name Lvcky from the main character in the movie. He reminded him of how he hustles and always stays down until you come up, you never know when it could be your turn.
When asked who inspires his sound/music, Lvcky responded “I can say J Cole Meek Mill and Drake inspire my sound. I look up to those 3 as they all have different styles of rapping. Knowing I can do all 3 is what separates me from the rest.”
As a Hip-Hop and R&B artist, Lvcky likes to say his music is for pain purposes only. Along with writing his own music, he chooses all of his beats which sets him apart from the rest. Music is his passion because it is a way he can express himself. Sometimes it’s hard for people to let out what they are thinking or going through, but it is easy for Lvcky to do so when he’s in the booth.
