The wait is finally over. edub.emoney has returned with his highly anticipated EP Rejection Over Hand Outs (R.O.H.O.), released on 27th February 2026. This marks the Los Angeles native’s first project since concluding his international The Late Night Walks Tour, and it arrives with unapologetic confidence.
Blending Hip-Hop and Rap with subtle touches of R&B, the EP captures edub.emoney at his most assured. He navigates the crossroads of newfound exposure and the pitfalls of the industry, paying homage to his roots while confronting fake industry sharks. Aggressive standout cuts such as Like Me and V-Aries showcase his lyrical prowess over otherworldly production, while tracks like Frenemy and Like This highlight a passionate, seductive side that proves irresistible.
The main theme of R.O.H.O. is clear: be the best version of yourself every day, refuse to let anything or anyone hold you back, and seize the moment to make a change. As edub.emoney explains, “one line from the project sums it up: ‘I can’t shave with my eyes closed’, a reminder to open your eyes, face the mirror, and drive real transformation. Drawing from his grandfather’s wisdom the EP serves as a short, motivating story of persistence without instant gratification.
edub.emoney steps forward with Rejection Over Hand Outs (R.O.H.O.) as a fully realized body of work that feels sharp, immersive, and undeniably self-assured. The project leans into a rich hip-hop foundation while weaving in melodic textures that add depth without softening its edge. His cadence is controlled yet dynamic, gliding over each instrumental with a natural precision that reflects both skill and artistic maturity. There is a magnetic quality in how he balances intensity with restraint, allowing moments to breathe while still maintaining a strong presence throughout. The sonic direction feels curated rather than crowded, giving each track its own identity while contributing to a cohesive listening experience. What makes this release compelling is its clarity of vision, as edub.emoney showcases a refined sound that feels intentional, focused, and built for longevity, reinforcing his position as a standout voice with undeniable momentum in today’s rap space.
The production stands out, fusing Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Rock, and Jazz elements across the tracks for a fresh sound. Recorded in Los Angeles and Atlanta, including sessions in Willem’s garage, ABC Studio in Sherman Oaks with Rellevant, and Noixzy’s studio, the creative process was collaborative and joyful. Producers TERRy, Willem Wolfe, and Rellevant crafted the beats, often building on each other’s work, while noixzy handled engineering, mixing, and mastering. Features from TERRy, ATM-XO, RAZR, and Amaru Quest add further depth.
edub.emoney developed his love for rap through battle rap as a young artist in LA, influenced by icons such as 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Michael Jackson, LL Cool J, Outkast, Billie Holiday, Bob Marley, and Billy Idol. His style merges old-school grit with new-school smoothness, like falling in love with the same person again or tasting your grandma’s pancakes for the first time. He pours unfiltered emotions from past experiences, trauma, wins, and lessons into his music.
Key milestones include his international The Late Night Walks Tour and the feature of his track Brown Skin Girl on the show Two Degrees with Carl Gilliard. What sets him apart is his bold blend of aggression, smoothness, and meticulous metaphors, positioning him as a rapper’s favourite rapper with his eye firmly on the G.O.A.T. conversation.
A music video for Like This has been shot and is set for imminent release. Fans can look forward to a future tour to connect with supporters, alongside new music from collaborators TERRy, ATM-XO, RAZR, Amaru Quest, and The Abomic Toms. edub.emoney is already working on an album, additional EPs, and fresh content while touring, promoting, and creating.
