Lil Wayne Says He Won't Quit Blink-182 Tour

Update July 12 2:00 PM: Lil Wayne shares he will remain on tour. Using Twitter, the rap star confirms to fans that “I won’t be quitting this tour! I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182.”

Yesterday was krazy! But I want all my fans to know I won’t be quitting this tour! I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182. Bangor,ME See you tomorrow!

— Lil Wayne WEEZY F (@LilTunechi) July 12, 2019

Original Story: Lil Wayne reportedly walks off-stage mid-performance, potentially quitting the joint tour planned with rock group Blink 182.

I think Lil Wayne just quit the Blink 182 tour. (Yes, that’s the same show)

During his set, Lil Wayne apparently noticed a crowed not as full as he is used to. Stopping the music, the Cash Money rapper declares “I’m not sure how long I’ma be able to do this tour.” Performing four songs to what he deemed an unsatisfactory Virginia crowd, Lil Wayne left the stage following his mini-rant. The moment, disappointing to most Tunechi fans in the crowd made it to social media.

Bristow, Virginia, only stop 10 out of 34 listed dates including Lil Wayne seems to have been the rapper’s breaking point. Lil Wayne and team nor Blink 182 have officially announced whether the New Orleans rapper plans to continue touring. Wayne plans to host his fifth annual Lil Weezyana Festival September 7 in New Orleans.

@LilTunechi basically complaining about the fans at #jiffylubelive not being his scene and then quitting the tour bc people were there to see @blink182 and not him. Major bummer, since I went to see him. pic.twitter.com/fZBLYu1bzj
