Lil Wayne shares cover art and release date for his upcoming album Funeral.
The New Orleans rapper has announced that “Funeral” will drop on Friday, Jan. 31. He shared a 30-second teaser, which features a snippet of a new song. “Welcome to the funeral,” he says. “Closed casket as usual.”
The album announcement coincides with new Funeral merchandise, available now on the rapper’s official site complete with CDs, limited runs of different vinyl options, sweatshirts, hoodies, graphic tees and more.
Funeral follows up Lil Wayne’s last album The Carter V which dropped in 2018. Wayne is slated to headline Beale Street Music Festival alongside Juicy J in Memphis this upcoming spring.
