Meet Lil Phil INC, the newest up and coming rapping sensation from Troy, Ohio. Phil has always had a taste for music and it was just a matter of time until he found his own sound and style to gaslight his evolution. He started off rapping beats on YouTube until he actually started to take it seriously. Once he realized his own talent, he perfected his work and rose right to the top.
“I want to give these people a voice with this music. Some kids don’t have the confidence to do that or to speak up about something so I want to just give them a way of expressing themselves. If I can help give these kids a voice and take it far then I think I will be satisfied” said Lil Phil INC on his goals in the music industry. One of Phil’s realizations was that he can be himself, regardless of the judgment he may face. He encourages his followers to do the same; as he said “you have the right to do whatever you want with your life no matter what anyone thinks.”
Although Lil Phil INC has been offered many deals, he prefers to be an independent artist. He enjoys doing his own thing at this time. He typically works with engineers and producers and they bring the body to the track. A couple of years ago, he didn’t have the greatest mindset – but now he feels like his thinking is clearer and his confidence is higher. When we asked him what his greatest music accomplishments are, he said, “Trapped Out Summer is a single that was put out during the Covid-19 pandemic and has since been gaining a lot of attention. It took a while but it’s been going up and it was just something that was written in like 30 minutes. Currently, I’ve been working on an album and will release it when it’s time. I want my first project to be something special and mixed with different sounds that my fans have not heard yet.”
Three Six Mafia, The Neighborhood, Tyler The Creator and Tupac are just some of the many that inspire Phil and his music. He wakes up everyday thinking of ways that he can be more successful and how he can get closer to achieving his goals.
