Coming off the success of his most viral single “Outside”, Inglewood’s latest table shaker Lil Duece has returned with a seemingly personal and tough collection of tracks entitled “Forever Pressured”. Features include RJMRLA, a sonic Jerry West, and Seddy Hendrix.
Generation Now co-founder Don Cannon makes a production appearance on one of the toughest songs off the project “TOOTSIES” which references Tootsie’s Cabaret a popular Dance & Night Club in Miami, Florida.
Lil Duece cross-references Drake’s “Tootsie Slide” and his infamous line “Second floor at Tootsies, gettin’ shoulder rubs”. On the track hook, Duece flips the bar “Took a trip to Tootsies just to see about the shoulder rubs” and adds “Never met drake but I got views in my crib” cold bars taking into consideration the theme of the track.
His message is visible as he touches on topics about pain, coping with death, substance abuse, being lonely at the top, and remaining raw lyrically with the help of some of the best producers in the underground scene including LowTheGreat, Killa Cam, Romo, and DbThePlug.
