Returning with her first single since ‘Respect and Power’ earlier in the year, Rap Game UK winner Layyah is back with the release of her latest offering, ‘Let It Go’. Already receiving the backing of the BBC and thousands of fans nationwide, she looks to make a noise in 2025.

She dives in, “‘Let it Go’ is about self-worth and resilience, it’s a reflection of a toxic relationship, recognising the lies, disrespect, and emotional pain it endured. It’s a mix of vulnerability and confidence, declaring independence, cutting ties and focusing on successes. Letting it ‘burn’, symbolises the decision to release past pain and embrace growth.”
Adding, “Letting go was the best decision. We had good times but now it’s good riddance. We have all been through our own heartbreak, healing, and empowerment, as women we transform our struggles into strength, proving we are unbreakable.”
Hailing from South London, Layyah Franks-Davies, creatively known as Layyah, is a defiant singer, rapper and songwriter with an innate passion for sharp lyricism, effortless flows and a commanding presence.
