Kiii Builds a Global Independent Network With THE SIDE QUEST Tour

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA — What started as relationships formed through music is now becoming a global creative network for Kiii. The Sacramento artist and producer is taking that independent approach further with THE SIDE QUEST, a seven-date international run connecting three continents, four countries, and six cities.

The tour moves through São Paulo, Los Angeles, Fujisawa, Tokyo, Kyoto, and London, creating opportunities for Kiii to connect directly with artists, producers, venues, and independent communities in each location. Rather than following a traditional touring model, the run was developed through TSE4VR, Kiii’s independent touring agency, with each stop built around the character and creative energy of its destination.

That philosophy extends to the performances themselves. While the dates share a common foundation, no two stops are intended to be identical. Selected shows will include live beat-flip sessions with local producers, allowing Kiii to bring his experience as a producer into direct exchange with the artists and sounds of each city.

The tour also arrives as Kiii releases THE VIEW FROM HERE on September 18, marking his third album within a year. The new project follows THE DOOR WITHOUT ANY WALLS and continues a remarkably active period for the independent artist, who also handles the majority of the production himself.

Created across international borders, THE VIEW FROM HERE brings together collaborators from different scenes, including SHEEF THE 3RD, Stevie Crooks, Chi Sees, Matheus Coringa, Valente, and Yumz Awkword. The North Carolina artist provides the album’s first official feature, while DMV artist Mélanje makes her first rap appearance alongside Kiii.

Production remains central to the project’s identity. Kiii produced nearly the entire album himself, with “NO FREE KILOS,” featuring TSE4VR’s LoTheDemigod, serving as the sole co-produced track. The record was made alongside ShawnIsADHD!, a producer whose creative work connects Oakland and São Paulo.

Together, the album and international run reflect an approach that places ownership and creative relationships at the center. THE SIDE QUEST is not simply an extension of an album release; it puts artist-owned infrastructure into practice by turning connections built through music into live performances, production sessions, collaborations, and new creative communities.

For Kiii, the journey now stretches from Sacramento to cities across Brazil, the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom, creating a network that exists beyond traditional industry pathways.
