Kevin Demitri wouldn’t be rapping without Delphi, a close friend who produced Kevin’s first ever freestyle. In fact, it was curated solely by banging on a desk during a school project. After meeting in High School and overcoming a couple run-ins with the law, the two Florida teenagers (at the time) continued to step into their own respective characters while music was always there to guide them. This most recent project, D.A.G V State Of Florida, was sparked by Kevin’s most recent time in jail where, at the surface, he stuck out like a sore thumb.
This didn’t mean it was time to become a shell of himself, actually quite the opposite. As soon as Kevin was released, he wanted to put something together that stood on…

Who Is Kevin Demitri?
Kevin Demitri is a fearless artist who has drawn inspiration from rock and its sub genres, traditional hip-hop, southern trap, and so much more. Every song is a different experience, but a couple things remain consistent: energy and passion. Whether his sound is for you or not, Kevin Demitri gives it all in the booth and that is not up for debate. D.A.G is Kevin and Delphi’s brand that the former even has tatted on his neck. “Doing Anything Greatly” is the positive message that these two are choosing to live by.
“Everyone has their own way of life or their own D.A.G” says Demitri. Eventually, Kevin explained, people did start coming up with their own meanings for D.A.G; “Dreams and Goals”, “Dangerous and Gracious,” “Don’t act but Grow,” and more. According to Demitri – D.A.G is really for those people who don’t know how to express themselves but want to. “We aren’t a gang. We are a way of life. Live how you desire.”
After losing his older brother in 2020 who was devoted to making it as an artist, music became more than a hobby to Kevin Demitri. He looks at music as a way to keep his brother’s spirit alive, and he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. D.A.G V. State of Florida may be Kevin’s most personal project to date. Fans can expect an immense level of rawness as a staple within Kevin’s catalog going forward. Additionally, Delphi brings the best out of Kevin on every track as they try to outdo each other repeatedly. When that’s the case, the listeners always win.
