Kanye West and former assistant Lauren Pisciotta have formally resolved the closely watched civil case after reaching an unconditional settlement in Los Angeles.
Kanye West has settled former assistant Lauren Pisciotta’s sexual assault lawsuit, bringing a legal dispute that began in 2024 to an end. According to Pagesix, court documents filed in Los Angeles show that the parties reached an unconditional settlement on July 23, 2026, with the terms remaining undisclosed.
Pisciotta initially sued Ye in June 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment, wrongful termination and other misconduct connected to her time working for the rapper and his businesses. Her complaint was later amended to include allegations of sexual assault, sexual battery and sex trafficking, claims that West previously denied through representatives.
The case had already moved toward a resolution weeks earlier. During a June 29 hearing, attorneys told a Los Angeles judge that the two sides had participated in mediation on June 4 and had reached a settlement “in principle,” prompting the court to cancel a subsequent hearing while the agreement was finalized.
The later filing confirmed that the agreement had become unconditional. Pisciotta’s legal team was expected to request dismissal within 45 days of the July 23 settlement date, while her attorney Arick Fudali separately confirmed to media outlets that “the matter has been resolved.”
Pisciotta’s allegations included claims that West sent her sexually explicit messages and material while she worked for him and engaged in unwanted sexual conduct. An amended complaint also alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted during a studio session; West has denied the allegations, and the settlement does not publicly disclose any admission of liability.
The resolution closes one of the most prominent civil cases surrounding Ye without a trial or public disclosure of financial terms. While the suggested framing referenced “new evidence,” current court reporting instead establishes a mediated settlement and subsequent dismissal process, with no verified new evidence identified as the reason for the agreement.
