Kane Grocerys, also known as YSB OG, hails from Waukegan and North Chicago and has been making music since he was seventeen. Inspired by his peers and the artists he grew up listening to, he has built a career in hip hop, rap, and trap music. Though he does not currently play instruments, Kane has some experience with the saxophone and piano, and he has considered refreshing those skills. His biggest musical influences include Master P, Wu-Tang Pimp C, and Three 6 Mafia, reflecting his love for the classic 90s rap style. His journey has been full of growth and excitement, from releasing music on SoundCloud, YouTube, and other platforms to performing shows around the world. Memorable moments include traveling to Paris, London, Spain, Amsterdam, and Germany while performing, as well as releasing tracks like Trap Goth and Land of Gothghanistan, which helped solidify his place in the industry.
Kane is currently working on a new album called Chi to LA. He recently released a music video from the project titled MBTD and is preparing to drop another video for Money on the Table. He also recently performed at an open mic in Chicago for the first time and received great feedback, which has motivated him to set up more performances around this album.
