Although Lisa spent much of her adult life as a nurse supervisor at an internal medicine practice and later with the New York State Department of Health, her true passion has always been singing. Tragically, her life took a dramatic turn two years ago when she was widowed unexpectedly while battling multiple myeloma, a type of blood/bone marrow cancer. Recently diagnosed with lymphoma, which has impacted her vocal cords, Lisa has been forced into early retirement from singing, yet her spirit remains unbroken.
In addition to her music endeavors, Lisa is an accomplished author, having published a #1 new release and bestselling memoir titled “The Hands that Held Me“. She has also contributed several articles on her medical research, which are now globally cited in peer-reviewed medical journals, aiding case workers, psychologists, and counselors.
