Week 3 of 2023 and so is a new record from Hendrick Douglass. This week Hendrick enlists some help from fellow singer/songwriter Zene & lifelong best friend and frequent collaborator Chr0niic to deliver a very smooth soulful pure rap record.
Hendrick & Chr0niic both boast their lyrical prowess over hard hitting drums & soulful keys making their claims to Hip-Hop greatness very clear & visible to the public while Zene delivers a beautifully crafted chorus with such a sultry & soul driven sound that its hard not knowing who the young songstress is & having us wonder where she has been hiding.
It is very nice to hear Hendrick back with the sound that he began his music career with. It is easy to hear the growth and elevation within his vocal delivery, lyricism, and energetic presence now sounding like the mature young boss he once aspired to be on some of his earlier work as Stone Cruz. With January coming to a close & a month of releases under his belt it surely looks like Hendrick is having a great time pumping out the content & expanding that musical pallet of his.
Hendrick Douglass is set to return to the stage opening up for rising Las Vegas artist & entrepreneur Trendsetta on his US tour for his New York show on February 11th @ Grill on the Hill in Harlem, New York.
