After completing a 6 week Artist Development program with Abstract Learning, Hanna Khalif releases ‘Wifey’. Wifey is about wanting to get married but afraid of marrying the wrong person. Hanna touches on the current state she feels this generation is in, in terms of Love. Using music as an outlet, Hanna feels that she’s ready for love but not sure if she’ll see the aisle due to the fact she’s quick to notice red flags.
A bit about Hanna Khalif:
Hanna Khalif is an R&B singer and songwriter based in Toronto, of Somalian Decent. Hanna Khalif isn’t your typical R&B singer, from a young age she was told that doing music was a sin which limited herself to express who she really is. As the years go by, it hard for her to accept music wasn’t on the table for her in her family’s eyes, she started filling journals compiled with life events she experienced in 2010. Soon those
journals became a way for her to song-write and develop her storytelling writing style in 2017.
As she grew more confident over the years with her self love journey, she finally decided to be bold enough to begin making her own music and telling her story.
Hanna Khalif is a fierce, spicy and unapologetic BLACK WOMAN with no limit to what she speaks about in her music PERIOD.
