Behind the name GXDRL stands Gadriel Ramos a multi-hyphenated creative powerhouse: rapper, singer-songwriter, actor, director, and producer. Born in the Canary Islands and raised in Northern Virginia, Ramos’ journey is anything but ordinary. From performing in local theaters as a child to serving honorably in the U.S. Air Force, his story is rooted in discipline, resilience, and artistic evolution.
After completing his service, GXDRL stepped into the entertainment industry full-time, landing a role on AMC’s “Turn: Washington’s Spies” before relocating to Los Angeles in 2016. There, he linked with fellow Virginia native Shaboozey, serving as creative director and co-writer on the breakout single “Winning Streak”—a milestone that led to a Republic Records deal. Surrounded by icons like Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and The Weeknd, GXDRL absorbed invaluable creative insight that would later define his distinct sound a polished fusion of trap, pop, and cinematic depth.
Now signed to 11:11 RECORDS, GXDRL continues to level up. His 2024 single “Goth Party” showcased his genre versatility, while “FLASH” cements his arrival as a forward-thinking artist ready for the global stage. The record embodies his evolution: a blend of melodic hooks, bold energy, and visual storytelling that leaves a lasting impact.
With “FLASH” out now and the official video premiering November 14th, GXDRL isn’t just dropping music he’s building a movement.
Stream “FLASH” now on all major platforms and stay tuned for the video premiere. The takeover has begun.
