Fans Believe Jay-Z And Offsets Stand Off Was About a potential song comparing Beyonce and Cardi B.
A video surfaced yesterday showing Jay-Z seemingly backing down Offset in the backstage area of an arena, which made many scratch their heads. People began to wonder why the two would be fighting about if they were.
There was no sound in the clip, which didn’t help anybody in trying to figure out what was being discussed. Fans have been speculating about why the Migos rapper and Hov were possibly at odds and the most popular theory has to do with a song referencing Beyoncé.
The latest rumor is being spread by AllHipHop as the publication writes that the ordeal was based on a potential song that Offset had in the works. The proposed track was titled “She’s My Beyonce” and it was set to compare Cardi B to Bey, which Jay apparently took issue with. This should be taken with a grain of salt as all of this is pure speculation at this point.
AHH notes that Beyonce and Jay showed a lot of love to Cardi early in her career and they may not have issues with either party. This was likely more of a warning that things will go downhill if Set decides to drop the track.
