TheQuantumPlane is a spiritual artist whose music has a profound effect on the listeners’ spirits and helps to transmit positive energy. Additionally, he is a prosperous entrepreneur who has assisted a great number of people in gaining traction on the internet. He was born in Detroit, MI in 1988. Who inspired you to make music?
I was inspired early on in life by listening to Motown music. I was a huge fan of songwriting because of musicians like Smokey Robinson. His music and writing were amazing which definitely played a role in my love for music. I hope I get to meet Smokey in this lifetime and do a collaboration. I loved Soul of the ’60s and ‘70s so much. The acts such as The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, and later Michael Jackson still gets played by me to this day.
What is the creative process of TheQuantumPlane like?
I’m a great observer and I love to set intentions. My creative process is to set an intention, imagine it as it’s happening, and follow my intuition until it happens. I am a deep thinker and over the years I have developed an incredible musical ear. This helps me to create music that can create a connection with anyone. I also like the chance to collaborate with artists from diverse backgrounds.
How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
The internet allows artists like me to find new creative ways to brand and promote ourselves. Not to mention it’s much easier now, to link with producers or find other artists whom you have never even met, to do features with. No need to be in the same studio anymore, we can just send the waves and tracks over the internet.
What is the best advice that TheQuantumPlane has been given?
I have to say, the best advice that I was given came from my grandfather on my dad’s side who passed away years ago. He used to tell me “Get down to it, just to do it, get down with it if you fit it, and don’t quit till you get it, do you get it?”
I finally got it and will continue to get down with it for him and my family through the soul. He will always be a part of me and his words will always guide me.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
I would change the inequality between the rich and the poor. I want to give more opportunities to the lower-class artists who can’t afford press, promotion, marketing, and some of the things the bigger artists can obtain.
What is one message TheQuantumPlane would like give to his fans?
Never give up on yourself and don’t allow your negative thoughts to spread through your day-to-day life to others. Because that energy can be replicated. Also stay pure and focus on the positive aspects of your career and life. You can make it one day if you work hard without worrying about the results.
What’s next for TheQuantumPlane?
I will be releasing more music, flooding my social media and the internet with content soon.
I will start blogging more, so be on the lookout for that. I’m inspired to write about music as well as the gaming community such as Grizzley World RP for the first edition.
Music will last forever and Hip-hop will continue to grow. The fact that new artists are being discovered from watching video game RP, says a lot about how big it could become!
For instance, Tee Grizzley has music studios, live event stages for performances, and much more, all in Grizzley World RP. So that’s in-game musicians and real-life artists who are the same.
I am not planning to make my own GTA RP city, but I do want to team up with someone like Tee and get behind a project of this magnitude to help expand and shine a new light. Even if I’m just digitally managing the press team and social media of the artists/gamers, I’ll be down for that experience.
We are both from Detroit and I plan to visit Cali soon, so who knows what will come. I reached out to many artists like Tee and 50 cent through my DMs on Instagram. Maybe now they will finally see my messages and respond!
