What is your name and what city do you rep?
⁃ My name is Jizzle. The OE comes from what me & my brothers are which is OETheFamily meaning Over Everything is the family. I’m from Bridgeport connecticut (the northend to be exact) but stay on the southside of atlanta.
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
⁃ My latest release is a project called “WavEY PenDerGraSS!” That dropped march 5th of this year. The name comes from teddy Pendergrass one of the smoothest singers in my opinion. I used to hear my dad playing his music a lot growing up. The inspiration behind the project honestly was LA . Majority of my project was made there.
What is unique about you and your music?
⁃ What’s unique about me are my melodies & my adlibs for the simple fact that you’ll hear a specific adlib throughout every song which i like to just call it my signature move kinda like wrestling that’s my finisher😂.
What shaped your music?
⁃ Really what shaped my music is some of the artists i listen to. Travis scott , A$AP Rocky & LIL B. When i first heard pesos & wassup by asap? Shit changed my world & made me look at music wayy different it made me want to make music & not everybody i listen to ever made me want to do something like that.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
⁃ i wanna say after my 2nd project which dropped in 2020 it was called Partment Baby 2 (unfortunately was taken off DSP’s). The feedback i got from that & the project top to bottom made me say “maybe i can build a buzz off this”
What type of music do you listen to?
⁃ To be honest everything lol except like heavy metal other than that whatever sounds great ? I’ll listen to.
What inspires you to write music?
⁃ Really whatever can inspire me rather it be a conversation a scenery a person or just me living in my own thoughts. But majority of the time in the studio i’ll light one & play about 5-10 songs i think are perfect like thundercat “them changes” or fleetwood mac “dreams” or “who’s crying now” by journey or the most perfect rap song ever “90210” by travis scott at it’s loudest & my mind just starts to work.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
⁃ I love clothes & i really enjoy getting in the gym & hooping.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
⁃ That it’s not about the music it’s about the business. If you get that portion lined up first you’ll go up.
Tell us about your upcoming projects?
⁃ i got this project called “ThE LoST TapES” coming soon a compilation of 25 songs from my previous projects that were taken off DSP’s all on one project. & i’m also working on a EP with Fuse & trepounds 808Mafia.

⁃ Don’t feel like cause the people around you not supporting ya craft that you won’t succeed. The world soo much bigger than the city you from. Live in optimism & believe anything you speak you can obtain. OETheFamily 4ever.
