Ella Mai’s breakout year continues. After earning her first top 5 smash with “Boo’d Up” and touring with Bruno Mars, the British songstress made her debut on the Steve Carell-hosted episode of “SNL” this weekend.

For her first performance of the night, the 24-year-old took over Studio 8H to perform her Mustard-produced hit “Boo’d Up.” Joined by a band and backup singers, a smiling Ella belted out the soulful song, which was certified 3x platinum.

She returned to perform “Trip” off her self-titled debut, which dropped last month. Standing in front of a bench with chain-link fence backdrop, she recreated the music video for the song, delivering her sweet harmonies while accompanied by a pair of backup singers.

Starting next year, you can catch Ella live on “The Debut Tour.” The North American leg of the global trek kicks off Feb. 12 in Vancouver and runs through March.

She can also be heard on “Love Me Like That (Champion Love)” off the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced Creed II: The Album.
