Jabari Mansell better known as Doke ThaKushite is an independent and talented music artist from Baltimore, Maryland. His music fits into the genre of HipHop & Rap but he enjoys and likes to make diverse music. From RnB to Jazz, he stays versatile and changes up with each song. His latest single shows true colors and is changing the music scene. “Mojo” is his latest single and it features Timi Turnup.
He started making music in high school over 10 years ago. It started out as him recording in the basement with his friends or even in his closet. Doke ThaKushite grew up with music from his mother and stepfather in church choir. As well as his father having a background in funk music and bass guitar. He always grew up hearing all types of music, so when he heard HipHop & Rap he felt an immediate connection.
Doke ThaKushite plans to build a great following on social media to promote and establish his music. His sound is universal and he knows if he pushes it out there that he will blow up. He has a lane that he stays in, believing his style is what has been needed in the music industry. Being able to make somewhat of a living from his music career is his biggest goal even if he doesn’t become a superstar. As long as his music touches people in some way and inspires others, Doke ThaKushite will have accomplished a lot.
