From Tampa Bay, Demxntia is back, finally dropping the long awaited “goodnight, pt. II ” with features from the likes of Kid Travis, Kaikyo, Laeland, and Dion Dugas. Demxntia has a chokehold on the lo-fi game, giving props to many sounds heard from K-Pop ballads; he really locks down a very somber yet hopeful vibe on this album.
The opener “tonight, pt. II ” and tracks like “Autumn” lend so much to Demxntia’s vocals, the way he shines on simple guitar loops and just a nice percussion really encompasses his melodic capabilities.
A lot of the album feels like he could have a feature from stray members of BTS or even EXO. The features on this album really compliment his style, Kid Travis works so well together with him on “Obsession” while the vibe takes a whole different shift when he’s with Laeland on “Picture Love.” With the album out now, we can only expect bigger things from Demxntia, whether it’s shows or visuals we hope to see and hear more from this local artist soon.
