Introducing Laverl Bumpus, who goes by the name of Yelz Feva. He is a 32 year old hip-hop recording artist from Brooklyn, NY, who began writing rhymes at the age of 8. By 21, he was already the star of his own reality show called Yellow Feva and the Fort Greene Posse, a gangsta rap opera.
This netted him a $50,000 advance with Turpin Production, a company based in France. Yelz traveled most of Europe on a film tour, in which he actually composed the soundtrack for. He’s done work with many well-known DJs and artists; some of which include DJ Drewski and DJ Self, who work at Hot 97, New York’s #1 radio station and recording artists such as Fivio Foreign, Jookz, DDE Richie, and a host of many more.
He has also performed at venues with artists like Ron Suno and Nikki (Sake Bomb), and did collabs with artists and beat makers like Legendary Keys and Swe Beats, to name a few. He recently just landed a distribution deal with Roc Nation/Soundhouse Music.
Finally, Yelz Feva has just been awarded a YouTube plaque for 100,000 streams and an RIAA digital plaque for surpassing 500,000 streams. Yelz Feva has stamped himself in music and acting. Now, he’s looking to lock down the industry.
