Seasoned hip-hop artist and educator Cold Medina has a knack for storytelling and dynamic lyricism. Having graced stages from Miami to Milwaukee, Medina currently resides in the Bay Area where he has connected with local organizations to uplift creative voices from the community. His latest visual for “Life’s Cold” (produced by Matt Kelly), shows how truly versatile Cold Medina is. His sound pulls from a range of influences allowing him to create vivid soundscapes that draw heavily from his Nicaraguan and Mexican heritage.
The official music video for “Life’s Cold” was shot by Alexia G Shot It from Safehouze Studios in Miami, FL. “Life’s Cold” can be found on Cold Medina’s latest project Knights in Tropicana, which was produced by Broward County-based producer, Matt Kelly. The two met in the Bay Area through a South Florida connection and have been locked in creatively ever since, co-founding Good Problems Collective, an imprint for expanding their artistic endeavors.
The album is a sonic journey, reflecting the versatility of each artist, while immersing the listener into the realm of Tropicana, a sunny land full of shady characters, all looking to cement themselves as major players in an imperfect paradise.
