We’re thrilled to announce the winners of our first annual Chicago Hip-Hop Contest. After reviewing many incredibly talented submissions from Chicago artists, our judges have selected the top 3 tracks.
First Place
In first place, taking home the $12,000 grand prize is Flee Baeb with his catchy track “Lizzie McGuire”! Flee Baeb impressed us with his creative wordplay and infectious flow on this one. Congratulations on claiming the top spot Flee!
Second Place
Coming in second place and winning $8,000 is Baby Mak with his vulnerable song “Broken”. Baby Mak showed off raw emotion and top-notch production. Amazing job Baby Mak!
Third Place
And rounding out our top 3 in third place, winning $4,000, is RicoDaChaser with the energetic “Don Da Da”. RicoDaChaser had us nodding our heads with his rapid-fire delivery and slick rhyme schemes. Respect Rico!
Thank you to every single artist who submitted music for our contest. The hip-hop scene in Chicago is incredible, and we were blown away by the range of styles, sounds, and stories on display in all the entries.
Even if you didn’t make the top 3 this time, keep honing your craft and bringing that heat. We hope to make this contest an annual event supporting Chi-town hip-hop.
