R$M Mack was born and raised in Buffalo New York, living with his parents along with surrounding supportive family members. As a young boy, his father had him around sports and music. After not having an interest in playing football at the age of 6, R$M Mack’s father put him in a basketball camp when he was 7 – 14yrs of age where he excelled unexpectedly fast.
He also played in several basketball leagues bringing home championship trophies. R$M Mack moved up the ranks so fast that his coach had him playing with the high school kids at 12yrs old. R$M Mack was solely interested in basketball more than anything in the world; that’s all he talked about with high hopes of becoming a professional ball player in the near future. All while being great at basketball, he started putting rhymes together in his early teenage years.
Once R$M Mack graduated from the eighth grade; he relocated with his mother to Atlanta GA. After relocating to Atlanta, of course, it was a new experience for him that he couldn’t relate to yet, but eventually R$M Mack adapted pretty swiftly. He started high school in Georgia and continued on with his basketball dreams but suddenly lost interest because the dynamics were so different down south to where they were running plays, and he just kind of lost interest in the midst of all the new challenges.
R$M Mack then put all his efforts and interests into music, inquiring his father with intriguing questions about the business and the creative process of making Hits. All while perfecting his Artistry, R$M Mack graduated from High School and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he still holds his position of contract looking forward to completion in 2022.
