The October 22 matchup is available to revisit through VERZUZ’s official replay, with Apple Music also spotlighting the songs behind both singers’ careers.
Carl Thomas and Case’s VERZUZ has moved from livestream to replay, giving R&B listeners another opportunity to revisit the pairing. The official VERZUZ page now directs viewers to the October 22 performance on Apple Music.
The event brought together two voices associated with the late 1990s and early 2000s. Thomas’s “I Wish” and Case’s “Touch Me, Tease Me” were among the signature records highlighted when the matchup was announced, setting up a meeting built around familiar catalogs.
Apple Music’s accompanying selection extends beyond the concert itself. Its VERZUZ Cheat Sheet: Carl Thomas x Case playlist sits alongside individual essentials collections, offering a separate route through the music for listeners who want to explore each singer after watching.
Thomas’s featured selections include “I Wish,” “Summer Rain” and “Emotional,” as well as collaborations such as Faith Evans’ “Can’t Believe” and Noreaga’s “I Love My Life.” Placing solo records beside guest appearances shows how his voice traveled across both R&B and rap releases.
The pairing followed another R&B installment featuring Joe and Donell Jones in August. That earlier show included Donell Jones reuniting with 702 for “Get It Together,” part of the format’s ongoing emphasis on reconnecting performers with the records that helped define their careers.
For anyone who missed the broadcast, the replay is linked from the series’ own homepage rather than an unofficial upload. The performance and its companion playlists make this VERZUZ installment a chance to return to the songs in full, with both catalogs available beyond the original livestream.
