Cardi B celebrated turning 34 with a pink gemstone-set Rolex and a custom diamond ring, sharing the purchases as gifts she bought for herself.
Cardi B has added a striking pink Rolex Daytona to her jewelry collection, unveiling the birthday purchase in an October 22 Instagram post. The off-catalog watch was sourced by Eric Mavani, who appeared in the video presenting it to the rapper after a search she described as worldwide.
The reveal came after Cardi’s October 11 birthday and paired the timepiece with a custom ring from Pristine Jewelers. As XXL reported, she described the ring as containing seven carats of natural diamonds and framed the purchases as a personal reward, rather than presents from a partner or a new brand collaboration.
The reported watch payment is $2.85 million, according to specialist retailer WatchGuys, which traced that figure to two wire transfers Mavani posted on Instagram Stories. That helps explain the rounded $3 million figure circulating in coverage, but the reported transaction should not be mistaken for an official Rolex retail price or a universally established resale value.
Often called the “Barbie” Daytona, the watch combines an 18-karat yellow-gold case with pink sapphires, diamond accents and a coordinated pink strap. Mavani estimated that roughly 10 examples exist and said Cardi’s was the only one available when he searched. That production figure is the jeweler’s estimate, not a manufacturing total published by Rolex.
WatchGuys identifies the model as reference 126538TRO and explains that “Barbie” is a collector nickname rather than the manufacturer’s official name. Its off-catalog status is central to the story: this is not a standard retail release with an openly displayed price and a widely available stock of identical watches.
Cardi also emphasized authenticity, thanking Mavani for finding a piece she said had been authenticated by Rolex. That makes her public account as much about obtaining the particular factory-made watch she wanted as about its headline price. The reveal closes with a clear distinction: the purchase and birthday presentation are public, while the scarcity and transaction figures remain claims attributed to the jeweler and subsequent reporting.
