The designer and BTS member’s shared sneaker project moves beyond its Human Made debut with a wider Nike rollout.

Nigo and j-hope’s Nike Air Force 1 reaches its October 22 global release, following an exclusive Human Made launch on October 17. Nike’s announced rollout places the collaboration on SNKRS and at selected retail locations, expanding access to the latest Air Force 1 World Tour design.

The shoe pairs glossy Burnt Sunrise and Metallic Gold leather with Chlorine Blue accents. Squirrel graphics bring j-hope’s personal visual identity into the design, while the combination of warm colors and bright blue gives this edition a distinct look within Nigo’s series.

In Nike’s October 8 announcement, j-hope singled out the balance of the enamel colors and the unusual shoelace detailing. The brand connects those choices to his colorful “hobicore” aesthetic, positioning the collaboration as a meeting of both participants’ tastes.

Underneath the new treatment is the revived 2001 Air Force 1 shape used throughout Nigo’s project. Nike has described that version as having a narrower toe box and a more athletic fit, distinguishing the series through proportion as well as color and graphics.

The World Tour began earlier this year with an LO2 edition inspired by Nigo and Jun Takahashi’s early-1990s magazine column. Its Sail and Loyal Blue palette referenced the original sign of their NOWHERE boutique, establishing the project’s emphasis on people and places from Nigo’s creative history.

The j-hope edition brings that personal-history approach into a new partnership with a global music figure. Nike says later installments will continue drawing on Nigo’s friends and influences, making this release another chapter in a multi-season project rather than the end of the collaboration.
