Stepping onto the scene and putting on for Harlem is none other than emerging rapper AyeCee. The NYC-native drops off an eight-track EP titled, Bad Choices, Good Decisions, and it is the perfect debut to kick-off his rising rap career.

AyeCee has a point to prove in his latest EP, Bad Choices, Good Stories. A solid project showcasing AyeCee’s versatility: Ranging from NYC-Drill inspired singles, such as his first release titled “Birdie” that has accumulated over 80,000 views on Youtube, to smooth R&B ballads such as “Pull Up” feat Nyasia Chane’. A former basketball player turned rapper, AyeCee demonstrates that he is an MVP on and off the court by curating an EP that all listeners can enjoy.
“Once I was done with college, and my dreams of playing professional basketball didn’t work out, I figured I would focus on my other passion,” AyeCee says. “This project was inspired by me deciding to take music seriously and show I can put together a versatile and different project.”
The new EP chronicles AyeCee’s current path in life while also not forgetting where it all started. “Being from Harlem, New York in general, you have to move in a certain way. New York is fast-paced, so you must think, react and adjust fast. My sound reflects that.”
AyeCee has enormous potential to become the next rapper to blow from NYC. His talent of flowing effortlessly on each beat handed to him is prominent as his confident personality shines through every track. AyeCee utilizes sounds and styles from artists who inspire him, such as Fivio Foreign, Cassidy, Drake, Kanye, Tupac, and Lil Wayne. Reimagined with AyeCee’s flair, there’s a lot of room for him to create unique music as he makes his mark in the music industry.
