After initially releasing Bank Statements on Sunday Morning & Vibes Never Lie…Right? in the first half of 2022, he is continuing with another project which will take his listeners on another introspective journey. This new project he teased on Instagram will “take my listeners to the same building but a different room from my last two projects.”
The New Jersey artist, born in Plainfield, NJ enjoys making music that provokes thought. His lyrics and voice blend smoothly with the 808s that appear on his songs. The style has come to grow on his fanbase, which he hopes will grow with the upcoming release “Passport Therapy” coming this summer. Some of Ar-Rasheed’s musical influences include artists such as Sade, Miguel, Tame Impala, Tyler, The Creator and Masego to name a few.
