6ix9ine and his girlfriend basically have no privacy.
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s girlfriend gave fans a first look at the Brooklyn-bred rapper behind bars earlier this week. In the photo, 6ix9ine is grabbing her rear — but apparently that’s as far as it’s going to go. According to The Blast, the Bureau of Prisons has strict rules for inmates and won’t allow conjugal visits.
“In most cases, handshakes, hugs and kisses (in good taste) are allowed at the beginning and end of a visit,” a Bureau official explained.
While the Bureau official wouldn’t comment on 6ix9ine’s pose in the aforementioned photo, the correctional officers evidently let it slide that day.
The Bureau of Prisons enforces a rigid dress code for visitors as well. For example, revealing shorts, halter tops, bathing suits, see-through garments of any type, crop tops, low-cut blouses or dresses, leotards, spandex and miniskirts are prohibited.
Visitors must wear clothing that’s “appropriate for a large gathering of men, women and young children.” Failing to comply with the dress code could jeopardize future visits.
6ix9ine was arrested last November on racketeering charges stemming from his alleged involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. In total, he faces six felonies and is expected to go to trial on September 4. If convicted, the 22-year-old artist faces up to life in prison.
Attorney Lance Lazarro is reportedly putting together a $1.5 million bail package to secure his client’s release.
