Introducing OMB LILMOE, an unsigned artist from the westside of Chicago, Illinois. OMB LILMOE has always had a passion for making music. He started off in 5th grade, his mom was a poet so he found his love in poetry and rhythm from her. He loves poems, as a child he had a theater art class so as an adult, he became better with his wording because of his past educational classes.
OMB LILMOE always loved beats so he started making beats first then, he started freestyles in lunch from the sixth grade onward. After his friend and cousin heard him one day, they had him recording his raps off of phones. He rapped all freestyles, right off the top of his head. The first song OMB LILMOE ever recorded was in high school during his freshman year, called ballin b!tches, which is now available for his listeners to hear.
When we asked OMB LILMOE what projects he has upcoming, he told us, “I’m working on my cappers EP right now. I don’t have a release yet, I kinda drop when I want but I’m going to ask y’all when y’all ready; just tune into my Instagram. But, I’m also working on an album to drop in December.”
Although he is an independent artist, he collaborates with his cousins, who are his engineers and Iamgmo or ace boogie, who are his producers. His most proudest accomplishment is that all of his music is almost in the thousands and he just started last year! He wasn’t expecting this because none of his views are paid for.
