We recently had the opportunity to sit down with rising artist Finesse Gang Polo. Here we unpacked his inspiration, creative workflow and musical story.
Who are you and where are you from?
Finesse Gang Polo and I’m from Orlando Florida but located in Miami Florida due to the label I’m signed to Slip-N-Slide Records
Who would you say you sound like artistically?
Finesse gang polo has his own sound he gets compared to YNW Melly due to their voices sounding similar but finesse gang polo puts his heart and soul in his music doing pain music and love songs to have people relate to him plus he does a lot of club bangers that you can get your party on to.
What are your plans for 2022?
Finesse gang polo has a lot of plans for the year 2022 he dropped his new hit single No Strings in January and plans on dropping a new hit single called POF in April and a summertime hit single called Young Fly and Flashy (YFAF) around July and August and he has an album on the way for wintertime called poet’s heart ‘n soul and plans on dropping a new EP for February of 2023 called fuck valentines 2
What does your creative workflow look like?
Finesse Gang Polo’s creative workflow is amazing from him ghostwriting music for a lot of music for major artists like Trina Plies and etc also his music catalogue is strong with over 100 songs also collaborate with artists like Baby Fendi, Rondo Smiff, and 21 Savage he has also been working with a lot of artist on the marketing side of music as well and was featured in two episodes of love and hip hop Miami
What’s one word of advice you’d like to share with others? Just be yourself you can only be you at every end of the day you can only be the best you that you can be people are either going to love or hate you regardless so all you can do is just live your life to the fullest YOLO never give up on your goals and dreams anything is possible
