Birdman Breaks Silence on Alleged Lil Wayne Shooter Phone Call Leak
Last week, local Atlanta news reported that the Cobb County District Attorney had re-opened the infamous Lil Wayne bus shooting case.
Apparently, a new phone call surfaced, which revealed Birdman talking to the shooter, Jimmy ‘Peewee Roscoe’ Winfrey (affiliate of Young Thug), telling him to come get his money.
Well, those within the Ca$h Money umbrella are saying that specific phone call was altered, as Birdman spoke with TMZ about the situation.
The source told them that Birdman was in no way referring to the bus shooting and didn’t believe Winfrey was even the shooter. He even went as far as to say that he would never associate with someone who tried to harm Wayne. Soon after, he promoted Tha Carter V on his gram page.
While the Cobb County District Attorney still has Winfrey in custody until he gets a new trail (or plea deal), look for things to either quickly escalate to something more serious or just quietly diffuse.
