Mar 18, 2021, 03:30am EST — Sacramento artist Kam Krzy is making a name for himself and The Bay area. His name is mixture of his name and an acronym “Keep Rising toward Zenith Year”. When it comes to his music, Kam Krzy’s genre is a mixture of Hip Hop, and Alternative Hip Hop. His sound is a unique mixture of party and chill vibes and he writes his own music. Along with doing music, Kam designs his own clothing line.
When asked, when did you start doing music? Kam Krzy replied “My father was a DJ/Radio personality in the Bay Area and I always had music around me. Everything from Morris Day, Sade, 2Pac, Too Short, and Ice Cube. I started taking music seriously in 2017. At this time I did a lot of soul searching and music definitely found me.
It was the only way I knew how to express myself. My cousins have music labels and have been doing music for years and encouraged me to showcase and fine tune my talent. After I recorded my first song North Face, released under Gold & Gems Records, I knew this is where I was supposed to be.”
Music is the only way Kam can express himself in a positive way and stay out of trouble. He sees music as a form of therapy. Everyday life inspires him to write. Kam looks forward to his experiences so he can put them in music and share with the world. His intention is to touch people through his work and help them get through life’s ups and downs. He hopes to make an impact by inspiring people to follow their dreams and encourage people to follow their passion no matter what others say or think.
