Amid news of Offset being detained by police after he was accused of waving a gun at Trump supporters at a rally in Beverly Hills, video has surfaced of the ‘WAP’ rapper confronting the officers.
The footage shows officers detaining Offset outside of an orange Jeep, when Cardi comes through and asks, “Why are you arresting my husband?” Cardi then states, “Why is there a gun?Why are you pointing a gun at him?” When she saw that Offset was being handcuffed, Cardi screamed, “This is crazy! My husband is not armed. My husband is not armed.”
While Offset was not arrested in the incident, Cardi’s cousin, 20-year-old Marcelo Almanzar was taken into custody by the Beverly Hills Police Department and held on $35,000 with a court date scheduled for Tuesday (Oct. 27).
