According to TMZ, Dave East is facing a possible battery charge after a three-way that went left. Dave reportedly took two women back to the Delano Hotel in Las Vegas following his appearance Saturday night at Drai’s Nightclub.
Dave told police that one of the women got angry that he wasn’t giving her enough attention and she hurled champagne bottles at him. Two of the bottles hit East in the head, and police noted that he had cuts on his arm and leg.
However, the woman claims that she got into an argument with Dave during the encounter, and she says that he threw 5-6 punches at her. The woman claims that she then ran into the bathroom to call the police, but she made no mention of throwing bottles at the rapper.
Dave’s friend and another woman witnessed part of the incident, with East’s friend backing his story and the woman backing the alleged victim. No one was arrested for the incident, but both parties were cited for misdemeanor battery. Dave’s attorney, Stacey Richman, revealed that East got a CAT scan after the incident and they’re waiting for the results.
