Cardi B made her directorial debut with the official release of the video for her single “Press,” and the fans are going insane. The Bronx native released the visuals for her latest single, “Press” on Wednesday (June 26), and she managed to fit a murder trial and choreographed, naked sequence all into a three-minute video.
The scandalous NSFW clip, directed by Jora Frantzis (“Money”), opens with Cardi making out with another woman and a man during a threesome. She then smokes a cigarette before cocking her gun and firing shots.
Over the weekend, Cardi B performed the single at the 2019 BET Awards, where she was also joined by her husband, and Migos frontman, Offset for “Clout.” She went on to win Album of the Year for her 2018 debut album, Invasion of Privacy.
Earlier this month, the Grammy Award-winning artist was indicted by a Grand Jury and is currently facing a total of 12 charges, two of which are felonies. On June 25, she entered a plea of not guilty after reportedly rejecting a plea deal from prosecutors.
