The expanded BULLDAWG arrives with 19 tracks, extending Kenny Mason’s latest album cycle.

Kenny Mason released BULLDAWG: GRAVEYARD SHIFT on November 6. Apple Music lists 19 songs and a runtime of approximately one hour, compared with the original edition’s 15 tracks.

The deluxe release follows a year of touring around BULLDAWG. In an interview with Hit Parader conducted ahead of the expansion, Mason discussed tours in the United States and overseas.

His musical reference points extend beyond rap. Asked about creating a video-game soundtrack, Mason singled out Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and connected that series to his interest in alternative music.

He also emphasized the influence of Southern Black church music. In his account, its harmony and chord choices continue to shape contemporary R&B and pop.

Mason described a more guarded approach to personal writing, explaining that he can convey difficult experiences without documenting every detail. The distinction allows him to remain emotionally direct while protecting parts of his private life.

GRAVEYARD SHIFT gives that album cycle additional material rather than replacing its starting point. The expanded edition is available alongside the original BULLDAWG.
