Snoh Aalegra Adds “Just Friends” as Legendary Love Nears Its November Release

The singer’s fourth album is approaching with a new preview and an announced team spanning several generations of R&B.

Snoh Aalegra has added “Just Friends” to the songs introducing Legendary Love, her next studio album. The latest preview arrived on October 28, following “Karma” and “I Love You” earlier in the month.

The album is scheduled for November 13, with its Apple Music listing confirming 13 tracks and identifying Feels Run Free as the rights holder, distributed by Stem. It is her fourth studio album and her first through this release arrangement.

Rated R&B’s album announcement describes a project written and recorded over two and a half years around one formative connection. The reported collaborators include Joel Compass, Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Raphael Saadiq, Nile Rodgers, Daniel Caesar, Josh Grant, Dahi and Mustafa.

The earlier preview “I Love You” brings some of those names into specific roles. Aalegra co-wrote it with Compass and Grant, with Rodgers contributing guitar and Saadiq playing bass; Alfred Marroquín directed its performance-led video.

“Just Friends” introduces another relationship question into that rollout, focusing on the uncertain boundaries of a friendship after romance. Rather than resolving the album’s full story in advance, the sequence of previews presents different points within the emotional territory Aalegra has described.

Legendary Love follows 2021’s Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies, making it her first studio album in five years. With the date and track count confirmed, the remaining songs will complete a project whose early releases have placed longing, attachment and acceptance at its center.
