The Atlanta artist is preparing an Atlanta-shot visual and a new lead single as he builds toward his next album.
SCOPE20 is setting the direction for Art of War with “JAY Z,” a forthcoming lead single and official music video that place ambition and self-determination at the center of the project. Also known as SCOPE, the Atlanta artist is planning a fall release across digital streaming platforms, alongside a YouTube premiere. Rather than announce an exact release date, he is introducing the themes and visual identity behind his next album.
The single’s title serves as a statement of aspiration, not a guest-feature announcement. Confidence, strategy and self-made success are the ideas driving this stage of the campaign, with Atlanta remaining central to its identity. The accompanying video was shot in the city, connecting the next release to the place that shaped SCOPE20’s musical background rather than presenting the album as a departure from those roots.
The announcement follows his involvement in the KING WOLF TOUR in support of UnoTheActivist. Omega Music Group’s tour artwork places SCOPE20 on a route that includes Miami, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and several other cities. That live-performance chapter provides context for the move toward Art of War: an artist taking his own material into the next release cycle after bringing his presence to stages beyond his home city.
SCOPE20 already has a substantial catalog behind that next step. His Apple Music catalog includes Trap Etiquette, Trap Etiquette 2, Days Before Dystopia and Lov3 & H8te, alongside the Flight 420 EP. “I Swrv,” a song from that EP, also has an official video on his YouTube channel, offering an earlier point of entry into his work while the new single’s rollout develops.
His creative background extends beyond performing. Raised on Atlanta’s Southside, SCOPE20 traces his early studio development to the mentorship of Rico Wade and the Dungeon Family, and his professional work spans writing, production, engineering and mixing. Those different roles help explain why the Art of War campaign puts so much emphasis on creative direction: the record, its imagery and its positioning are all parts of how he is presenting this next chapter.
For now, “JAY Z” is the announced introduction to that chapter, with strategy, survival and self-made success framing the album’s direction. A final release date and full album track list have not been announced in this rollout, so the focus remains on the upcoming single and Atlanta-shot visual. Listeners can follow SCOPE20’s official Instagram account, @scope20, for the next confirmed updates as Art of War takes shape.
