Coi Leray and Lucky Daye bring an original duet to Epic Records’ newly released Holiday Radio collection.
Coi Leray has released “Milk N Cookies” featuring Lucky Daye, arriving October 30 with a seasonal setting and a romantic premise. The single is out through Epic Records under exclusive license from Trendsetter Studios, giving the pair a shared entry in this week’s new-music lineup.
The song appears on Epic Presents: Holiday Radio, a 14-track compilation that places original material beside familiar Christmas standards. At 2:40, Leray’s contribution occupies the third spot, following Meghan Trainor’s “Frosty The Snowman” and Duncan Laurence’s “Our Christmas.”
Rather than taking on an established carol, Leray and Lucky Daye have a new song to introduce. Early coverage from That Grape Juice highlights the flirtation in its chorus, while DND FM describes the pairing as a sweet seasonal duet, placing romance at the center of its holiday framing.
The collaboration also joins a varied run of recent releases on Leray’s official music page, including “Nothing Into Something” with Diplo and “Outside” featuring Eladio Carrión. Here, the featured billing shifts to Daye, bringing an R&B collaborator into a project built around the end-of-year calendar.
The wider Holiday Radio collection includes Mariah the Scientist’s “Please Come Home For Christmas,” UMI’s “This Christmas” and GIVĒON’s “The First Noel.” That mixture of new songs and recognizable titles gives “Milk N Cookies” a clear role: an original duet within a multi-artist seasonal release, rather than a standalone holiday album from Leray.
Provisional, research-based editorial assessment: 3.5/5. The early descriptions of a playful romantic concept and complementary R&B pairing support a positive initial assessment, though the available commentary is limited and does not establish a critical consensus. This is one editorial assessment made without direct audio listening, not a reader vote or an aggregate of outside scores.
