A fan’s miniature version of Daft Punk’s pyramid stage is moving toward an official LEGO set, turning a concert memory into a building project.
Daft Punk and LEGO announced a partnership on October 22, with a fan-designed Alive 2007 stage concept approved for development. The announcement concerns a future product, not a set already available to buy.
The official announcement traces the design to Patrick Harboun and his son. Their project won LEGO Ideas’ Music to Our Ears challenge in 2020 and later gathered 10,000 supporters, giving the collaboration a foundation in fan participation.
The partnership extends beyond that model to products, content and experiences. An introductory film uses “Voyager” and “Human After All”, linking the visual reveal to recordings from two different periods of the duo’s catalog.
The reveal followed a cryptic transmission on WDPK Radio. As Jay’s Brick Blog documented, the teaser moved through servers toward a console before lights formed a LEGO brick. Its references to October 22 and 2007 gave viewers clues before the formal announcement.
Daft Punk’s helmets were already familiar in LEGO settings. The duo appeared as playable characters in LEGO Fortnite and made a cameo in Pharrell Williams’ brick-animated film Piece by Piece. The pyramid project shifts attention from those appearances to the architecture of a concert stage.
LEGO says more is coming in 2027, but has not announced a price or specific release date for the set. The displayed fan model is also identified as a proposal rather than the finished product, leaving its final design among the details still to come.
