A Lamborghini Countach and three 1950s American vehicles are joining the rapper’s collection after a stop at the Illinois attraction.
Travis Scott has bought four collector cars from the Volo Museum in Illinois, according to an announcement shared by the attraction on October 20. The museum said the rapper flew in on his private jet, toured its displays and selected the vehicles from its showrooms.
The purchases include a 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, a 1955 Chevrolet 150 Sedan Delivery and a 1957 Ford Fairlane. A 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup rounds out the group, as detailed by Lake and McHenry County Scanner.
Photos released by the museum show a red Countach alongside the older American models, rather than four variations on a modern supercar. The Ford is a pink-and-brown convertible, while the black Chevrolet Sedan Delivery has custom wheels, a lowered stance and a blue interior.
Volo operates as both a museum and a collector-car dealership, with many showroom vehicles available to buy. The family-owned attraction also houses film and television cars, military exhibits, vintage trains and an antique mall, making Scott’s visit more than a conventional dealership stop.
The museum described Scott as courteous to its employees and said he wanted to return with his family. XXL reported that Volo’s original social-media post was subsequently deleted, although the local report retained the museum’s account and photographs of the selected cars.
The purchase price and the date of the visit were not disclosed. October 20 is the date of the museum’s public announcement, not a confirmed date for Scott’s arrival, and no total valuation for the four-car purchase has been released.
