Layzie Bone Rejoins Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Onstage After Public Tour Dispute

Layzie Bone is back onstage with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony after days of public disagreement over his absence from the group’s tour with Wu-Tang Clan.

Layzie Bone reunited with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony during the group’s September 9 performance at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, marking a sudden change after a dispute that had played out in public videos. Complex reports that Layzie joined Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone and Flesh-N-Bone for the hometown-area stop.

The group performed a 13-song set that included “1st of Tha Month,” “Notorious Thugs” and “Tha Crossroads.” Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is serving as an opening act on Wu-Tang Clan’s Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber farewell tour, which is scheduled to continue into early October.

Only days earlier, Layzie said he had expected to be part of the run but was left uncertain about whether he was going. He said his bags were packed and that he had prepared merchandise for the road, while claiming communication about the tour had broken down after the group’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

Krayzie Bone publicly disputed that account on September 8, saying Layzie had not simply been abandoned and remained welcome to join the tour. Krayzie also said the group had offered to make sure Layzie was paid if he entered rehab, an assertion made by Krayzie that did not include a public confirmation that Layzie was dealing with addiction.

The Ohio reunion is the clearest sign yet that the immediate standoff has cooled. Seeing Layzie back beside Krayzie, Wish and Flesh-N-Bone was a notable reversal from the uncertainty surrounding his status just a few days earlier, especially with the performance taking place in the group’s home state.

The tour is scheduled to wrap October 4 in Phoenix. Layzie’s return means fans on the remaining dates could see a more complete Bone Thugs-N-Harmony lineup, although the group has not publicly announced whether every private disagreement raised during the recent back-and-forth has been resolved.

For now, the stage reunion matters more than another round of social-media statements. After a week in which both sides gave competing explanations for Layzie’s absence, the members were once again performing together in front of an Ohio crowd.
