Mac Miller’s Estate Marks ‘The Divine Feminine’ 10th Anniversary With Deluxe Edition and “Butterflies”

Published on August 21, 2026

Mac Miller’s estate is celebrating a decade of The Divine Feminine with a new anniversary edition and the official release of the previously unreleased song “Butterflies.”

Mac Miller’s estate has announced The Divine Feminine 10th-anniversary edition, revisiting the rapper’s 2016 album with new material from the project’s recording sessions. The announcement arrives alongside “Butterflies,” which has now received an official release as the first preview of the expanded anniversary campaign.

According to Rolling Stone, “Butterflies” was recorded during the The Divine Feminine era and is being formally released as part of the album’s 10-year celebration. The song gives listeners another look at the creative period that produced one of Miller’s most melodic and romance-centered projects.

The deluxe vinyl edition is set to include three bonus tracks from The Divine Feminine sessions. The package expands the original album across three LPs and adds collectible presentation elements, including specially designed sleeves, a miniature booklet and an art print, extending the anniversary beyond a straightforward repress.

The Divine Feminine was originally released on September 16, 2016, through Warner Bros. Records. The 10-track album featured Bilal, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Njomza, CeeLo Green, Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar, with songs such as “Dang!,” “Stay,” “Cinderella” and “My Favorite Part” helping define its warm, soul-influenced sound.

The project marked a distinct point in Miller’s artistic evolution, leaning heavily into themes of intimacy, love and emotional connection while blending hip-hop with R&B, funk and jazz-influenced production. Its anniversary edition continues the estate’s recent practice of revisiting important chapters of his catalog with archival material from the same recording periods.

Miller’s estate previously commemorated other major releases with expanded editions, including Watching Movies with the Sound Off and GO:OD AM. Those campaigns similarly opened the vault for previously unreleased recordings, giving fans additional context around the music Miller was creating during each era.

With “Butterflies” now officially available, the The Divine Feminine anniversary rollout adds another archival release to Miller’s posthumous catalog while keeping the focus on material tied directly to the original sessions. The full 10th-anniversary edition is expected to further spotlight the album as it reaches its decade milestone this year.
