6ix9ine has reignited his long-running feud with Lil Durk, using a livestream with DJ Akademiks to make another inflammatory remark about the late King Von.
6ix9ine trolled Lil Durk and King Von during a recent livestream with DJ Akademiks, once again targeting the Chicago rapper as Durk remains at the center of a closely watched federal case. In a clip circulated by Akademiks TV, 6ix9ine claimed Von was in the “pits of hell” and continued mocking Durk over the circumstances surrounding his longtime friend’s death.
The comments were part of a broader conversation in which 6ix9ine argued that Durk’s current legal situation had validated his own decision not to risk his freedom over pressure from people online. He framed the contrast as proof that refusing to “crash out” had worked in his favor, while repeatedly using Durk and Von as the punchline to his argument.
The hostility between 6ix9ine and Lil Durk is not new. The Brooklyn rapper has spent years antagonizing Durk and invoking King Von’s death in songs, interviews and social-media posts, a pattern that has repeatedly drawn criticism from fans and other artists. Von was killed in Atlanta in November 2020 following an altercation outside a nightclub.

The latest appearance also comes months after 6ix9ine took fresh shots at Durk during a livestream with Adin Ross and Cuffem. Complex reported in January that the trio recorded a diss track during the stream that included direct references to Durk, extending a feud that has remained active well beyond its original flashpoints.
Durk has pleaded not guilty in his federal murder-for-hire case, and the allegations against him remain unproven unless and until prosecutors establish them in court. The trial has renewed attention around past statements, music and online exchanges tied to the years-long conflict surrounding OTF and Von’s death, giving 6ix9ine another opening to insert himself into the discussion.
Whether Durk responds remains to be seen. For now, 6ix9ine appears content to keep revisiting one of hip-hop’s most contentious rivalries, while his latest remarks about Von are likely to generate the same backlash that has followed similar trolling throughout the past several years.
