Toronto, ON – September 5, 2025
A few Fridays ago, Toronto’s music scene was set ablaze as Connoisseur Ghost and New Legends Music Group (NLMG) pulled off what few artists dare to attempt—shutting down two stages in one night. The back-to-back performances not only highlighted their unmatched work ethic but also reinforced their reputation as one of the most dynamic forces in Canadian hip hop.
The night began aboard the Empress of Canada for the Toronto Hip Hop Boat Party: End of Summer Edition, where hundreds of fans filled the decks for a celebration of music, culture, and community. With the city skyline as their backdrop, NLMG commanded the stage with high-energy performances and DJ sets that kept the crowd locked in from start to finish. The electricity in the air was undeniable, as the collective once again proved why they’ve become a staple in Toronto’s evolving hip hop scene.
But the grind didn’t stop there. Shortly after, Ghost and the NLMG crew headed west to Oakville to headline the Straight A’s & Straight Shots House Party. Transitioning from a massive city event to an intimate college-driven atmosphere, they displayed their versatility and ability to connect with audiences across different spaces. From the club crowd to the college scene, the movement showed its strength in uniting two cities on the same night, bridging fans from Toronto to the GTA.
The night was more than just performances—it was a statement. It marked yet another milestone in NLMG’s ongoing rise, proving their ability to command stages, build community, and close out summer with unforgettable energy and momentum.
