In the Cole Bennett-directed clip, the 19-year-old Florida native is surrounded by robots on a grass-covered soundstage. In between doing cartwheels, he FaceTimes with his “boo,” a green woman with three heads, while a blonde Yeezy makes a cameo.
“I think I got mixed personalities,” sings Ye while sporting an Eazy-E T-shirt. “This bitch switched up my whole mentality,” adds Melly.
Melly broke onto the scene with his gold-certified single “Murder On My Mind.” We All Shine follows his debut I Am You, which was released in August.
“It’s really based on what [I] grew up on–being locked up for two years of [my] life,” said Melly. “It means more than just gang banging. We All Shine is to the universe to the whole world. It’s not just black culture but to white culture, to every culture, we all shine.”
